About Food Craft Studio

Our professional Culinary , Pastry , Barista Courses, certified by the Indian Government, are designed to be globally recognized. We are proud to be affiliated with the Tourism Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) and the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET). Our state-of-the-art facility, spanning over 750 square feet, features two fully functional studio kitchens, providing an excellent environment for hands-on learning and skill development.

Our dishes are crafted using premium ingredients and refined by the skills of our experienced chefs. With over 20 years of combined industry experience, our faculty members bring extensive knowledge and expertise to our programs. Enrollment is now open for our Culinary Arts,Pastry Arts and Barista programs, with new batches starting in July 2024 and January 2025. I’m Manisha Tiwari a passionate culinary and pastry enthusiast and the creative mind behind Food Craft Studio®.

My adventure began in 2005 as a home baker, and over the years, I’ve evolved into a globetrotting enthusiast, having explored more than 40 countries. This extensive travel has not only broadened my cultural horizons but also enriched my culinary and Pastry repertoire. In 2011-2012, I took a transformative step, pursuing a short-term culinary and pastry course at the prestigious Waitrose Cookery School in the UK.

This journey has been a fascinating blend of personal growth and gastronomic exploration. Now, as the driving force behind Food Craft Studio, I bring together years of experience, a spirit of innovation, and a deep-seated passion to create a culinary and pastry haven. Join me in crafting delicious memories on this gastronomic odyssey, whether you’re a seasoned chef or just stepping into the kitchen. Welcome to the flavorful world of Food Craft Studio!

Meet

Mr. Hardeep Singh Sondhi

Co-Founder

My Journey:

I was born and bred in Kolkata, where my culinary journey began at a very early age. I was fortunate to learn the art of cooking from my Aunt Manjit Kaur Ghura in Mumbai. She taught me how to make sauces, cakes, ice creams, soufflés, and various cooking techniques. By the age of eleven, I was already preparing jam and apple fritters, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Today, I am proud to serve as the Executive Chef and Co-Founder at Food Craft Studio. I hold a Diploma in Culinary & Pastry Arts from the Institute of Hotel Management, Kolkata, which I earned in 2004. With over 18 years of experience as a food instructor, I have had the privilege of working in some of the most established and renowned restaurants in the country.

Originally from Kolkata, my journey in the cooking industry took me to Mumbai, Read More where I honed my skills with esteemed establishments such as Taj Group Hotels, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels, Speciality Restaurant Pvt Ltd. (as part of the Pre-opening Team of Sigree Global Grill), and Indigo Deli. I have also managed outdoor catering services, handling everything from preplates to seven-course menus for a wide range of esteemed individuals, including industrialists, celebrities, corporates, and even former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, with over 50 catering services to my name.

My work has been recognized by Celebrity Chef Saransh Goila, who featured me on the FOOD FOOD Channel to showcase my special recipes on his restaurant menu. Now, I am eager to assist those with similar aspirations, sharing not only theoretical knowledge but also practical trade techniques.

Through my journey, I aim to inspire and guide aspiring chefs, helping them to realize their culinary dreams just as I have realized mine.
